totally agree drebin.mcdermott was absolutly useless.we went back a hundered miles an hour every second that guy was in charge of our great club.anyway i absolutly hate those gowans twins (because there so good),ross gibbs was the biggest ******* pansy and also that white from sturt used to cut north up a lot so im glad his gone .

Drebin & GORAW facts don't lie McDermott has a better coaching record at North than Barrie Robran, at least he took you blokes to finals

So if you're going to bag Bones, you've got to bag Barrie......

And while you're bagging North coaches for letting players go thank Micky Nunan for giving us the Stringers, talk about handing us two premierships.....

Gee if you had the Stringers instead of us in 85-86 would have been three in a row for the club you [you] love....

Im just wonderin if you maybe just a bit to black and gold - like one eye black and the other gold

Glenelg - last recent premiers 1986 - now your 20 year anniversary since your last premiership and maybe your 20th coach - not sure on that talking about having great coaches because they come and go so easily down at the bay

North - last recent premiers 1991 - and maybe 5 coaches - not sure

And Im also not sure but have Centrals now won more premierships than Glenelg.

In a nut shell all clubs have some bad coaches - but really take a big hard look at your own back yard and probably even your front - hey

Yeah, we've won 5 and the Gays have won 4 - and we've been in the comp since 1964.

I prefer to base my arguments on perceptions, innuendo and unsubstantiated sweeping generalisations.

If I want to use facts I'll be subjective and only use the facts that support my arguement, sheesh!!

Ahhh here we go again!! Its amazing how many times non port supporters go on about some of the port players. A classic example was Mahney, wouldnt have played AFL in any era, but played great Port Adelaide (team) football. In one of the grand finals against Glenelg (either 88 or 90), Mahney set up the team (in the first quarter) with his attack on the footy and team play. Settre did the same. Port might have had inferior sides on paper to North and Glenelg (and Norwood etc) in the 80's but when all was said and done, just played superior team footy and won the big games.

Hey REB, as a one eyed Cats supporter, can you confirm or deny whether or not Austin McCrabb "could actually play"?

Godd point GWW. I note that now the doggies are doing well a lot of people name the Gowans twins. Interesting that many of them also list the twins as players they'd most like in their teams!
