We still have Daniel Archer to come back in as well so not light on for tall fwds - you can also play M. Westhoff up there too now he is back.

Not that the Eagles have seen much of him at all this season, but Nick Salter has been ruled out for the rest of the year according to a tweet from MMCM...

Norwood's Jesse Aish awaiting results of a scan on his injured knee from Saturday...

Seeing the replay and the incident live through binoculars, it didn't look good...

Should have results back tonight, fingers crossed for him it is not an ACL reco required...

Has anyone got an update on the injury to D Kirk, recruited from the bays to the Eagles?

Looks like Glenelg's Lewis Hender could be out for the year with a possible torn ACL in another blow for the Tigers...

Grocke now listed as 4 weeks with his achilles injury, so if all goes to plan he should be back after the Eagles next bye. That is a long time out given pretty much each week it has been listed as "test" since he was injured in Round 2. It is important he gets right and could become a very handy inclusion for the 2nd half of the season.

Have been fortunate to have Salter playing and the recruitment of Ainger has proven to be very valuable. Also with Staple and Fitzgerald in reserves there is some depth to cover fortunately.

South should be asking the Crows to have Dowdell and Mckernan transferred back. And then another 10 quality players so they can be more competitive.

@whufc will be devastated to read that his favourite Doggies defender Corey Reichert will be out for the majority of 2014 after rupturing his ACL last weekend against North Adelaide...

The only positive to that is it will surely force the dogs to recruit another key position player.

Is that a different injury to the one Reichert passed a fitness to play withm

I do hope he has a speedy recovery
