I think Aberfoyle Park will be drying up soon and changing into an older suburb with a further move down south. Plus its only ever supported one SFL side. Biggest high school in the state now is in Reynella East.

Both Flagstaff Hill and Happy Valley football clubs have record numbers of juniors in the last few years.

I didnt say it had dried up. I said I could see it drying up in the near future as per a lot of other suburbs have. Youre right about current numbers. Reynella had 60 kids out for the first night of preseason in the Under 14s last night.

Lol west Adelaide has a future?? With the way it is run by Kym Russell, the club will have no future. The bloke has no idea and is simply about his own pay check.

Atleast they have caught up and are no longer 1 year behind in superannuation payments

That is not good at all.
Hard to see them surviving if they record a similar loss this year.
Hope things turn around

You'd have to be concerned as a Westies member/supporter that they're about to sell off 4 Poker machine licenses .. I'm sure they would have done their homework to see how much each of the licenses was bringing in for them.

Think they have their Board elections this week, hope they get a good turn out because it seems a critical time in the clubs journey.

Not the CEO's fault. Their spending is outstripping their income and as North found out years ago, pokies on a backstreet do not attract punters.

Pokies are a necesary evil and if the $$$ dry up due to tightening legislation etc. then all clubs will struggle.
Piss weak SANFL and the CLOWNS who run it.
