got the desired result I was after. The sporting hub WILL be a huge success, hours and hours of consultation has been put into this development & it will be utilised all year round, not just in footy season.

I didn't know you were one of the organizers of this project centurion?

Seeing previous sporting venues that were used regularly, then after a few years of low numbers using them fall into disrepair, I don't have much faith in it succeeding.

The money could have been put to better use in the community.

yep, should have built more needle exchanges & shooting galleries. it fits in with the area.

Which sporting facilities failed? I cant think of anything substantial in the Playford area. Elizabeth North football club shut down in the early 80's- is that what you mean? Community rec centres do well in Playford. Argana Park netball courts are well past their replacement date but still well utilised. Ridley reserve is chockers most weekends, even throughout the summer with baseball and softball. Aquadome has been there since the 70's and still popular. Looking forward to seeing the vision and well done to all for achieving funding commitments.

having grown up with few facilities in Elizabeth I think that the sporting hub sounds like a great idea.
