Those three were bloody good servants for mine. You're doing them a disservice by including them in this argument, to suit your needs.

That's reading what you want to read but how you'd interpret those names as worthy of being disparaging is beyond me. They are the exception to the many imports that have been no good playing AT the club.

You know, what, you're right. I speed read your quote. Poor interpretation.
See, I'll admit when I'm wrong.

Time for one of Beenreal's greatest hits, a straight quote with no editing.

Given you've posted this you might want to have a glance at Irony in your dictionary too.

Tell me where that's wrong Topsy? Since 1997 the PAFC has delivered over $57,000,000 of revenue into the $ANFL coffers. It's on record.

You feel free to continue your personal attacks though, if it makes you feel better.

3.3M a year? Hardly seems worth it does it.

Based on your previous flat out lie, that 80% of all PAFC revenue goes to the SANFL, your figure above would seem to imply the PAFC turnover $4M/ year.

Is this the case?

SANFL have just put on Facebook a picture with all the tarps removed from the seats for the GF, expecting a big crowd?

Anyone have a list of recent GF crowds?

With this being the last meaningful grand final, I hope it is a decent crowd. I won't be attending though, I have already attended my last ever SANFL match. I've had a gut full of this reserves crap. Would hate to see how low crowds are going to be next year if the 2nd half of this year has been any indication.

Based on that, you'd be hoping perhaps a crowd of 36-38k.

Yeah I think around 35,000 should be the target. Considering it is the last meaningful SANFL GF, it would only make sense for all supporters from both North and Norwood to be there.

Yep minimum 35k, you would expect North to draw at least 6k more than West, plus many more neutrals will be interested than the past 2 years I would have thought.

This game could pull the largest crowd of the century. Most appealing GF since Norwood/Port and/or Sturt/Port in the late 90s perhaps? First time in a while two of the big four (Port, Norwood, North & Sturt) have played each other in a GF!

Hopefully there's a big crowd.
I don't think it will tell us too much about future interest, given the circumstances of the venue.

If Port, Norwood, North & Sturt are the Big 4 would that make Eagles, West & South the little 3?

And now for awake in the black and white forest. Apposite really.

Interestingly when Beenreal is confronted with two of his or her statements that...

"PAFC pay the SANFL 80% of all their revenue" AND the "PAFC have contributed $57M since 1997" I.m curious why he or she won't answer the obvious question that the PAFC turnover, based on those figures, is $4M per year over that time.

It must mean one of the statements is wrong.

Who'd a thought it? :D
