Well everyone seems to think Rhyce Archard is a rough chance for the medal. I have it on good authority that someone at South dropped a $100 at 200/1 on him, before the start of the season......
Personally I think he is the best recruit South have had on a dollar for value basis in many many years.
Anyway I've had a crack at how I think the South boys will go:

Rd. 1 bye
Rd. 2 v North 1.M.Handby
Rd. 3 v West 3.Archard 2.Cupido 1. Parry
Rd. 4 v Port 1.Parry
Rd. 5 v Sturt 3.Bennett 2.Parry 1. Kenna
Rd. 6 v Glenelg 1. Bennett
Rd. 7 v Norwood 1. Archard
Rd. 8 v Centrals 3. Bennett 2. Kenna 1.Thewlis
Rd 9. bye
Rd. 10 v WWT 1. Archard
Rd. 11 v West 3.Thewlis 2.Kenna 3.Archard
Rd. 12 v Port 3. Mcglone 2.Sampson 1.Archard
Rd. 13 vSturt 3.Cupido 2.Thewlis 1.Archard
Rd. 14 v North 1.Archard
Rd.15 v Glenelg 1. Bennett
Rd.16 v bye
Rd 17 v Centrals 1.Hateley
Rd. 18 v WWT 3.Thewlis 2. Sampson 1.Wright
Rd.19 v Norwood 3.Twomey 2.Davey 1.Parry
Rd.20 v Sturt 3.Archard 2.Smith 1.Iljecson
Rd.21 v North 1.Thewlis
Rd. 22* v West 3.Davey 2.Parry 1.McGlone
Rd. 23 v Glenelg 3.Archard 2.Davey 1.Thewlis

Archard 15
Thewlis 11
Davey 7
Bennett 8
Parry 7
Kenna 5
Sampson 4
Mcglone 4

As someone who has seen all South games this year ,these are my predictions.
Josh Thewlis has also had a great year and I wouldnt be surprised if he ,like Davey is destined for the AFL.
What the umpires come up with however is anyones guess, its a bit like when they blow the whistle-could go either way.
Interesting to note that Archard missed the Rd 22 Game v West because of a Wedding committment. I am sure had he played he would surely have figured in the voting. It may turn out to be a very costly decision.

A very good kudge of SANFL footy has informed me that
Justin Cicollela has 92 mag medal votes in his career.
This is the most of any current player.
He will be the first WWT player to ever reach 100 votes.

He is a genuine superstar, I was glad he came back to
play after nearly staying in Melbourne a couple of
years ago, he is a delight to watch.

I particularly like the way he stands up to the Gowans in the big games...
