It's not that bigger call B&W, for me Nick is second behind Joel Cross, I was also a fan of Steve Kenna. South should build something at the ground and call it "The Joel Cross & Nick Liddle' pavilion such has been their input into our club.

Steve Kenna, forgot about him, great little player. Ball magnet

What about Johnny Hassal

Jon Hassall and his buddy Nathan "topsy" Turvey...ex Collingwood....Ive tried to forget them actually..the club at the time,in its wisdom ,preferred to recruit them instead of a couple of twins from the VFL................ :axe:  [-X

Hard to split Liddle and Cross. Liddle perhaps shades Cross but only just. Cross has been the better performer of the two in our finals campaigns however.

Has been a pleasure/privilege to watch them both week in week out.

In tough conditions on Sunday this game is 50/50.

The only thing 50/50 in Adelaide Crows SANFL games this season are the on the day raffles some clubs have been having

So how many Ravens fans were spotted at this game? South tried to make them feel welcome, right?

Wow! They really stick with their side through thick and thin, don't they?
The PASSION! The CHARACTER! The INTEGRITY!
The capital letters and exclamation marks are there by intent. Who can deny the uncommon valour of the average Ravens fan when their side is getting pounded well into the hundreds, as many as THREE of their supporters will make the arduous journey in order to support their side. Out of an estimated membership of 70,000, this insanely high percentage of supporters who follow the Ravens through thick and thin can only be indicative of a serious MANIA sweeping Crows fans: watch out the Apricot Slice, your crown is in serious danger, as RAVENS MANIA is taking over!
Imagine the numbers if player's families actually turned up as well? Crows management would need to look at possibly hiring a Goggomobil Dart to transport the "travel-anywhere-masses" (TAMs) to witness their heroes getting repeatedly pantsed.
Yes, they have had their detractors, but no one can deny the enormous success their inclusion in our great league has been.
Perhaps if they failed to deliver on their promises of increased crowds to SANFL games, we could pay their detractors some heed?
Likewise, if they reneged on their deal to heavily promote footy in the zone of the clubs they are playing? Say no more!
The only possible downside to this scenario could be an increased number of coffee thermoses being left, forgotten, at grounds playing host to the Raven's "TAMs". With China no longer willing to take our reyclables, local councils' resources are currently being stretched to the limit in coping with this influx. Clubs are currently in negotiations with Crows management, and the solution being discussed ATM is of texting all the TAMs at the end of Ravens games, to remind them not to forget their coffee thermos. Obviously the Crows have some logistics to overcome before they can ensure their capacity to be able to text all three fans. Until this becomes possible, clubs have this somewhat small price to pay as they endeavour to cope with the extra fans pouring in the gate wherever the Ravens are scheduled to play.
