Not quite, needed a couple more goals. Speaks volumes for the 'dogs, with a quarter of the minor round gone (and 3 of 5 against 2006 finallists), that their percentage actually drops after a 62 point win.

For mine (echoing some sentiments already expressed) Norwood were hard at it for 3/4 and just ran out of "legs" the end.

Loved the Gowans salutes to the Hill after goals in the last quarter.

And doesn't Cornsey just love that?

Nothing aside from the obligatory flare, behing the northern goals. Lucky they sold that flare to a dogs supporter and not someone who may have needed it to get out of trouble as it was a dud.

Think CP might have been pretty close to, but thankfully not actually in, the action.

Apparently all the fights were between Centrals supporters. At least that went right for Norwood....

Also good to see OSULLIVAN back in the team, what a player

Mal, I'm as about a one eyed supporter as you'll get, but I have done that too on the rare occassion. I remember clapping off the Eagles at Elizabeth!, when they beat the Bulldogs with no players left on the interchange and a few walking wounded on the ground, and still won.
Totally gutsy win and I acknowledged it. But, it doesn't happen all that often.

As others have said, the umpiring was appalling. Thought the Dogs got the rough end many times, but hey, we still won!
In the last quarter, a dubious free went against Cockshell, and the look he gave the umpire said it all. I would love to have seen the SANFL umpires report on this game, would make for some "interesting" reading. Great games from Switala, McKenzie, Schell, and the Gowans. For Norwood, still think that McGuinness is good pick up for the Legs.

Seven evictions, an ambulance called and blood everywhere. Interesting take on 'no big deal' lil' buddy.

A sad day for the SANFL when all of the calls about the game are not about the class of Callinan or McGuiness but about the mindless thuggery of a certain style of 'supporter'. It'll be interesting to see if the SANFL official on the radio this morning follows up on his thinly veiled reference to action being taken against the club(s) involved. History should have taught us that we should not play Centrals under lights on a Friday night and that'll be the last one for a very long time.

That free against Cockshell was the worst free kick I have ever seen. In disbelief he said to the umpire, "What for?!". I agree. :?

Well hasn't Centrals in the past come out in the past and say they never want to play at Norwood at night. I was very surprised that Centrals got a Friday night game at Norwood this year. I hope it's the last.

As for the game - the first three and a half quarters were quite entertaining, although Richard Williams showed once again that he's a has-been and should retire immediately (seriously, the SANFL have to get rid of him ASAP). The last half of the last quarter was pure class by Centrals.
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10

It was over with in 30 seconds drama queen. Security sorted it out and those guilty were escorted out. WOW what an ordeal how did we all get out alive. Both sets of fans were involved. Although Im sure only one set will be blamed as per usual.
