When was Norwood's last 100+ point loss?

We've been under par the last 4-5 years but at least we rarely had 100 pt floggings. Very devastated with the result.

Where did centrals get them Red and Blue Witches Hats from that they were using on the weekend, they look like a very effective training aid. The looked like they were made out of very soft material. :D

Also a minor point worth noting is that it's the second consecutive game in which the Dogs have kicked 11 goals in the final term against the Legs.

Outscored the Legs by about 220 points in the last 5 quarters played between the two!!

Still at a loss for words ... Can't wait for cricket season (even the Redbacks aren't this bad)

Have only made it to three matches this year but, boy, was this one worth the drive!! Felt honoured to be at Brad Currie's last game. A true team player who put everything he could into Central. Wish you luck with the job in the U.S., Brad!
As for Daniel, beautiful to see. Great marking action, good strong kick etc. However, what stood out to me was his second effort, willingness to chase and willingness to give off to other players.
Cheers!

One thing I hate seeing is our supporters getting cocky. To make comments about next year's flag is utter stupidity and only an opening to supporters of other sides to be critical of us. This year's flag is by no means a certainty. I can still North, Glenelg, Sturt and the Eagles giving this year's flag a big shake. Let's firstly make the top three and then take it game by game from there.

9 handballs or something wasn't it? I don't remember that many, but it was a very unselfish game nonetheless. Set up several teammates for goals of their own throughout the day. Probably directly involved in more than 20 goals for the day.

Spot on BULLDOGPROUD there are some knuckleheads on this site ,obviouslsy they have not been around long enough in the footy scene i can recall one year when the Maggies were hot favourites for the flag just about won every game during the year.

Guess what Sturt beat them !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So what does it all mean on GF day in a 2 horse race anything can happen.

Doggies do ya remember 2002 or have ya all forgotten.

I believe that the last time Norwood lost to Centrals by over 100pts was 1984, when we were Premiers from 5th spot!

I'm still stunned that we managed to play the almost perfect game. The best we have played since the 2004 GF. The challenge is now to keep this form and focus for the remainder of the season. I don't expect 100+ point wins every week but a committed effort from every player every week should see us take out a top 3 spot then it all starts again 8)
We used to be good :-(

Btw, how did Havelberg miss out on the Rising Star Award for this week? No discredit to Jake Pavlich but not often a player breaks a club's goalkicking record in his first season.

As much as I wish this thread would disappear, thats a fair call BP .. Does he meet all the required eligibility criteria, or has he received a previous nom. because it's incredible to think he wouldn't win it after that performance

Great point about Havelberg. Maybe he needs to kick 20 this week.
