I gotta say that whilst rolling my eyes at the dribble we continue to offer up, I was ultra impressed with the Eagles, who really appear to have only the one task left to confront (recovering full fitness across the board) to be RIGHT around the money this year.

Their workrate and constant harassment in the first half was first class, and will always tear apart a rabble mob like ours who play "Hot Potato" footy when under pressure.

Luke Jarrad is a star, one of the best individual performances this year and he just oozes class ... Whats his background? I read somewhere here that he's from Williamstwon previously - How old and what chance he could be drafted this year?

Aerie - Can't argue with your call on the umps, we certainly received a much better run in the 2nd half than the first ... I'm sure the buggers check the stats or something at the breaks becaue whenever a team cops the rougher end of the stick early, they can generally expect the better run in the next half (happened just 2 weeks ago at the Bay).

You were not at woodville the week before less said about one umpire the better.
