Not sure they have the 100k to match the offer....Would be handy though.
I know he has spoken with another WAFL club very recently.

Interesting. He spoke to Perth first, and then to Peel and Swans after that. Not sure if there is a fourth club involved. But i doubt any other club would match that $$ so sadly it looks like he will play for Swan Districts. Hence, i really hope Port pick him up!

Leon Davis is listed on the Perth website in the players section and has been for a few weeks. This info seems to have slipped through to the keeper.

Nothing concrete, but I had that factoid about his listing on the website pointed out to me. One of three options IMO: someone has blown their load early and assumed Perth are getting him back, Perth have signed him on the quiet and have accidentally let the cat out of the bag or West Coast are signing him (the latter means he'll be allocated back to Perth automatically).

You'd think Swans would have the funds to get him away from returning to Perth if he's going to be an exclusively WAFL player. Hoping not though, Perth need all the help they can get at the moment.

Yes, we saw it and immediately figured it was the first option!

The WAFC has listed other delisted AFL players such as Menagola and Perham for East Fremantle, and they are also pending the rookie draft. IMO it means nothing just yet.

Not sure where you get your mail from, but i have heard that a combinaion of his age, the $30k transfer fee and his asking price to play, have seen South withdraw their interest.

Yes, Kane will now be staying at the Bays as South can't afford him and withdrew their offer yesteday. Good news for Bay fans.

Great news - having a player forced to stay at a club when he doesn't want to be there!

Yep, now he can give 100% commitment to a club he doesn't want to be at.

Cheap shot. You think Clayts would rather be elsewhere? I am interested in this response.
