Sadly i hear a few guys from the panthers are after pay rises. I think these guys need to realise that last year was terrible and that NOONE in that squad deserves a pay rise.

Disappointing to hear that sort of news when you're hoping to hear positive things about the club. To hear some of the clubs prime players putting themselves ahead of the club and its supporters is disappointing and a trend that needs to stop if the panthers are to rise from the bottom rungs of the ladder. Its been going on way too long and local guys like myself are sick of seeing import after import come in and not give 100% for the club but rather have there own interests at heart.

I see guys like the Gowans and think what did Centrals do differently and how can not only South Adelaide but every SANFL team recognise and attract this sort of loyalty to the clubs and the competition.

How anyone could demand a pay rise after a season like that is astonishing.

There is a story going around that a person in a prominent off field position at Noarlunga has been given their marching orders. More info to come on this from some others hopefully.

If it's true, it's becoming a mass exodus.
I know a couple of staff from the entertainment club have left, and know of 3 high profile players (including Clarke) that have apparently quit, and one that is still deciding whether or not to re-sign.

It's true Phil Herden has left the building. Come on Southies its time to storm the gates (all 6 of us) this is now officially a club in crisis! Who is responsible?

At least the recruits stick the year out. You must have been real serious then?
what if they all did a sooky like most locals out at the south?

Should prob find out the real reason why I chose to head home rather than call it a 'sooky'.

I have a cousin playing YDS footy at South, & I've demanded if he's any good, he move to North.
If not, stay at South & change his name

Seriously though, what parent would want to trust South to get the best out of their kids, when there is no stability at senior level?
This is not a slur on any junior coaches they have, but the general mis-management of the club.

I didn't see anyone at South on the development squad lists with the surname "Rooster". Is he a cousin on your mothers side?
