It was just reminding me of when all the bookies and supporters were tipping South to be top last year. It did not happen and blew up in our faces.
I was really saying the bookies and some supporters might get a shock and like you said some supporters have tipped them out the 5 but I do know some (not on this site) that predict a GF spot.
Just relax mate and see how it pans out.

if that was what you were really saying, then why dont you just say it that way in the first place :?

Sturt deserve to be taken seriously as a huge threat for the Flag.

By the way, their current odds represent poor value

STURT 3.00
CENTRAL DISTRICT 3.00
NORTH ADELAIDE 5.50
WOOD-TORRENS 7.00
GLENELG 8.00
PORT MAGPIES 15.00
NORWOOD 16.00
SOUTH ADELAIDE 17.00
WEST ADELAIDE 26.00

Thought the Eags might have been a little shorter. I was expecting 6/1.

Doesn't take much to get Sturt fans up in arms...and for the record, have a look through sl.org as you will see that I NEVER wanted Perrie at Glenelg.

Sturt lose in an Elimination Final the year before, recruit a never-was hack, and suddenly they are high odds to win the flag...um, let's settle this debate with a "we'll see".

Dude, seriously, we should be double figures. We've proven nothing in the past few years since winning the flag, and all of a sudden we're debating whether we should be $3.00 or $3.70. Get a grip.

Probably a fair call.
Sturt 10 to 1 but Port at 50s might be a bit tight.
Probably 100 to 1.
