All discussions to do with the SANFL

Dunno, hard for me to judge as I was only sober till about 2pm and there was only about 1600 there at that stage.
As per usual for the last couple of years everyone rocked up in the last 15 mins though.

I thought it strange today how the ressies finished at 1.30 only to have a 5 minute presentation of the old Woodville players.

he he.
We could also hang our hat on the crowd %s but I know that upsets a few people so I won't mention it!

Without a shadow of a doubt definately more North supporters there today. In fact I thought we might have got a few more there today. Big day for the club and all. Bit disappointing really.

Good to meet you as well Spelly and the big warrior. Pretty scarey Mac, myself and the big warrior being in the same place at the same time - 3 major footy nerds together
Back in Victoria now but noticed the last quarter brawl got an airing on the Adelaide news tonight. Good stuff!

I forgot to check the news, usually they show about two goals and something from a Crows or a Power player.

But while an all in brawl is not good for the games' "image", it in a way is another good advert for the league to show this is where the tough footy is played.

Nah, they were average today, the lighting today (and last week) has been the best for taking pics all year but my pics from earlier in the year were better, but I did take basically all of those in the first quarter, I don't think I could have focussed on the camera let alone got the camera to focus for me later in the game!

(I'm still relying on my Gill Mark and Culpitt Gatorade Bath for my chance at an award this year;))

Hopefully like the Roosters I'll hit form again in the finals. :D

Anyway back onto the game, I thought Lindsay was awesome today. Absolutely slaughtered O'Hara and Huddo did well to bascially break even with him.
Eagles absolutely killed us at the stoppages today, most of our goals especially in the first half would have started from our half back line.
Koops shirt front was one of the better I've seen for a while in the SANFL, very sweet.

North are short an in and under rover type, I've said that all year and today it was proven again.
Our hand around the packs and delivery was crap, the Eagles hands around the packs and delivery was exceptional.

Well done to the Eagles, deserve full rights to outright premiership favouritism now and I think North drop back to the pack with South, Glenelg, Port and Central.

I might have to start up a thread "to downplay your club" now!

Hopefully the players are fully aware the performance today needs to be repeated when it counts.

The pictures are always good on the Eagles official website. Every game is captured. The club looks after their own.

PS. Your pics are good too Wedgie. Much appreciated, as is the website. Very hypocritical to be having a go at Eagles supporters though. We are the club that you have no respect for aren't we?

Yeah sure mate, the fox stand and the people in front of it REALLY seemed to be making lots of noise. I bet Jars was blown over with the noise.
