They take a lot out of the community with the amount of poker machines they have and apart from running a footy club I wonder how they actually put back into the community?

Our major sponsor is The Government of South Australia & their interest in the local community is obvious. The oval has been named after the largest subdivision in South Australian history, so large that is a new suburb of approximately 4,500 new homes PLUS the largest Urban Renewal project in the state's history. Whilst we are talking about facts, I am reliably told that the naming rights for Coopers Stadium are the highest value of any naming rights in the SANFL. Equally, the club's major sponsor is the league leader in terms of the value of that sponsorship.

And it forces the spectators at the ground to drink a sub par beer
