Factually incorrect. ... well at least if you consider a "supporter" someone who buys a membership and attends their teams home matches.
Claim 1) Oldest Average supporter base in SANFL
With the Eagles junior supporter and family friendly membership focus in recent years the average age of our members has dropped from 43.9 in 2009 to 22.0 in 2011.
I would be shocked if that is the oldest in the SANFL
Claim 2) Bugger all supporters - Part A
North's current membership (all ages) is 2107 (NAFC web site)
Eagles current membership OVER 18 is 2160 (53 more)
plus we have 1464 signed up members under 18
this
does not include the approx 2,200 auskickers & junior club players in our zone who receive an Eagles Junior Members pack as part of their registration fee.
3) Bugger all supporters - Part B
After 9 home games each
- North home games - 21,198 attended
- Eagles home games -- 24,629 attended
So Eagles have had 3,431 more attend their home game so far this season.
Unless North can get over 5,000 to the game againt Port it will be the first time since I started keeping figures in 2003 that the Eagles have had a higher home match figure than the Roosters.
I should also add we are
- 45 per game behind Port
- 32 per game ahead of Sturt
- 99 per game ahead of Central
Do they also have bugger all supporters this year?
