Bays will miss Gibbs soooo much.
I watched quite a few Bays games this year and when they missed him mid season due to the underage comp they were crap. Certainly wasn't a coincidence.

It wasn't just Gibbs we missed in those games, Fisher, Douglas, Gibbs, missing our best midfielders our depth (lack of) was exposed

Fishers back, Boak is an in for most of the year to replace Douglas and the others ins are an unknown quantity -certainly not as good as Gibbs but should help maintain a degree of quality when the inevitable injuries hit.....

FWIW I hope for their sake we don't see much of Douglas, Logan and Willits. I also hope Hinge gets a few games this year for the Crows too.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Nah mate, I was actually at the games, not just interstate reading about it, Gibbs was the major factor.
Bays will be stuffed without him.
Absolute class act.

Not denying he's a big loss, and the ins wont meet his standards, however I believe our depth has improved this year compared to last year....

Time will tell.....

Geezus, it'll be quite scary for the selection panel if we have some AFL players to fit in that and dont suffer the injuries we did last year!

good on paper but............matches arent won on paper............the paper will tear to shreds in september again..............

I wish we had that side on the ground in September, nothing close to it.
(And the side we did have got withing 2 kicks of the premiers)
Hopefully the Doc with AFL credentials that Jars brought in this year might help alleviate that.
And having said that we do seem to have more depth each year with the speed at which we produce quality juniors should injuries strike.

When's a Bays supporter going to put together a side as opposed to just having a go at better clubs than their own? :?

You got within 2 kicks of the eventual premiers after we took or foot of the gas in the last quarter. Quite frankly I think the scoreboard flattered you in the end. I will be looking for the usual september choking of the cocks once again.

Christ, an Eagles supporter lecturing us about choking, that'd be like an alcoholic lecturing me about drinking! Come talk to me when it takes more than 2 hands to count your premierships and your GF/Premiership ratio is a bit closer to 50%.
