Fair decision to flick the mercenary for todays game. Truth is, if Port took their chances they'd have both the premiership points. They've lost the hunger of the pre-Power Maggies... I almost feel the slightest ounce of pity for them, but then I remember who they are...

cc, you can not call hargreaves a mercenary, because i know for a fact that glenelg & central offered him big bucks about 5 or 6 years ago & he turned both clubs down because he was loyal to north, (that loyalty tells me he is not in it for the money), it would have been easy for him to go to central & get the big bucks & know he'd be playing in a side likely (& they did) to win a flag or to glenelg to earn bigger bucks, but no he stayed so therefore he can not be a mercenary

With North being 29 points up, Timmy told the players that North would drop the intensity, because they would believe they had done enough. How wrong was he?

if timmy was right imagine the carnage if north kicked straight & didn't drop their intencity in that game, infact they then would've gone close to our record 49 goals

slap yourself on the wrist bayman, that 49 goal record is sacred and for a tiger fan to suggest that another club get close to it is sacriligious or something like that

We lost to Sturt with Hargs. We got a draw against Glenelg without him.

0+1 = 1.

Simple mathematics. Even for Wedgie.

And that explains Rd 4 how?

I can't remember the last time Hargs played in a losing side against Glenelg, its been at least 2 years.
I also would like to see Ports record with Hargs and Waterhouse together as opposed without them together.

Port always treat players who joined them from other SANFL clubs like crap. Players like Hargy, Phillapou, Peuker, Robertson, Harry, Ellen, Lees are good examples. Always the first dropped and made scapegoats for poor team performances

Neither side deserved to win yesterday. Both had times during the game when they held the ascendency, only to throw it away with poor use of the ball.

The Pies had some golden chances to skip ahead but poor set shots for goal proved very costly in the end. However, with the competition so close one point could be the difference between playing finals,or not.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

Port shoulda won, and if not for better kicking for goal would've...sort of reminded me of the Glenelg/West game, but this time at least the Bays got a point

THough I did find that reply funny, your point is wrong.

Though I do agree that our recruitment of past it players has been ridiculous (mind you the majority of players were before Ginever became coach), they have in no way been scapegoats.
