Dogs away guernsey 2008

Thread started over at the CDFC forum:

http://forum.cdfc.info/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1095

My mail is that it has already been selected by the board - either way a change will be good, hopefully blue shorts or even the old red shorts get a run with it, but I reckon the whites will continue to be worn every game.

So it's 1)western bulldogs or 2)the crows. Good that they're asking for opinions though. Well done CDFC. Maybe they could teach Eddie a thing or two!!

Their current one is ugly, so the WB style one would be much better. Or how about something original?

New clubs have proven that new isn't necessarily good - Power and WWT Eagles for example.

Good to see Central bringing in a clash guernsey. Hopefully that means we can wear our blue guernsey against them at Woodville and on ANZAC Day and in the finals if we're the higher ranked side. I prefer the Western Bulldogs/Yale logo rip off guernsey to the reverse Crows style one.

Since when were they "strip"s. Isn't that a soccer/pommie thing ?

I like the first one.

I really like the way the sponsor doesn't dominate the first one and the focus is on the emblem.

Good work Doggies, much better effort than North's alternative rubbish and an improvement on other club's efforts too.

Shouldn't the sleeves be torn off though?

Ah, my bad - I read all the posts there but not the actual thread title. I agree, a soccer term, not a footy term.

Plus wouldn't a "strip" be something you take off, not something you put on?

While neither are fantastic designs, I prefer the second one.

Ideally I would have preferred our old '80's guernsey to be relaunched as our away guernsey.

As for the flanellette one, where's the Port Adelaide one :D
