In one of the weirder stories Ive heard the hearing that was due to be heard today(about relocating their pokies to North East Rd) was adjourned until February 16th as one of Norwood's legal reps had a tennis injury.
True Story!

Hard to believe from a supporters point of view and from someone who has played tennis 3 nights a week for 20 odd years without an injury.
Perhaps he splipped on the lawn tennis court in the back yard and landed in the pool next to the spa. Seriously I hope he is alright whatever happened, but dissapointing all the same.

This is more to this story than a tennis injury. Nothing sinister, but the information has been confused along the lines. Not sure if the real story is for public release but it's a very genuine reason, not a tennis injury!

Rumour has it they're losing 10k per week, this could esculate to 15k per week if legal fees blow out.
A club can only sustain that for so long, let's hope it all turns good for Norwood as quickly as possible.

Worse still it'd mean Japanese beer at every SANFL ground and no respite with a decent South Australian owned beer at one of the ovals like we currently have!

Appears that there seems to be a few more hurdles thrown in the way of Norwood. Not really sure how to describe it but perhaps someone with more facts can post something.
