Fair point, my angry e-mail will now be aimed at Michaelangelo "Journalistic Hack" Rucci!redandblack wrote:Why blame Doug Robertson? He's been fighting for ages to get more SANFL coverage. Write to the sports editor.
We're lucky that Robertson gets our current coverage printed.

Punk Rooster wrote:why Doug "Journalistic Hack" Robertson, was given an all expenses paid trip to Darwin, so he could write 1 paragraph on a game of football, involving a local SANFL club & a (state) representitive side? The coverage by the print media, is disgraceful. ABC (who covered the game) gave it decent airplay on the Sports section of the news, as did C9. Congratulations to these outlets for being on the ball. I will now limit my newspaper buying to Fridays & Sundays, in footy season only- let's face it, I get more info of off the net.

Quite easily explained;
1. It's the 1st week in February (Like the middle of the cricket season)
2. It was only a trial game
3. Contrary to what some posters on this forum imagine, the football world does not revolve around North Adelaide.
