SANFL MOVES TO TRIBUNAL PANEL

The SANFL has announced the introduction of a three member Tribunal panel to
hear charges brought against players breaching rules of the game.
Following an end of season review of Tribunal procedures, a Tribunal Review Committee chaired
by SA Football Commissioner Mr Dion McCaffrie and comprising Colin Casey, Football Services
Manager and Paul Cuthbertson QC, Chairman of the SANFL Tribunal, the recommendation to move
to a three member panel from a sole Commissioner structure was approved by the SA Football
Commission.
The recommendation reflected the wishes of the SANFL Clubs to see a three member panel
preside over League Tribunal proceedings. A sole Commissioner will continue to preside over
Under 17, Under 19 and Reserves Grade Tribunal hearings.
The SANFL Tribunal review is part of the League’s ongoing commitment to continuous
improvement in its administration of the SANFL competition.

How long is Moes Tavern going to be closed whilst the conversion of the front bar into a tribual takes place?
