Anyone heard of him?
He spent seven years as part of the recruitment and player development department from 1999 to 2007 for the Cows and he's just been appointed football operations manager at Norwood.
Apparently he got the gig by committing to being as half as good as James Moore within five years.

slightly OT but has it been mentioned on here that NFC are looking to occupy premises on the parade with no pokies, just club rooms for members? also looking at a development in the NW corner of the oval around the RSL and Coopers Corner similar to the GFC function centre? heard all this today....

Mark Ross - also known as "Rossie" - is a very switched on fella who has watched more games of footy than I would care to think about.
Very knowledgeable about the game and has a good eye for raw, young talent.
Is a very strong Norwood man and can be quite opinionated, but that is what footy passion is all about.

Thanks for that Maxy, sounds like exactly the type of person our club needs.
Dutchy, I don't think thats been discussed before, but I'd say your source is close to the money

obviously judging the ability of the norwood side isnt one of his strengths though as he was carrying on like they were the greatest side ever that night...almost had that spot on didnt he

Record after that game:
Norwood 4 wins 8 losses
Glenelg 10 wins 3 losses 2 draws.
In hindsight, I think that game was a turning point in the season for both teams - it gave Norwood an inflated opinion of their ability, and it made Glenelg realise it had to tweak its gameplan and put more effort in to be successful.

LOL ... Oh, I didn't realise we were talking hindsights now ... In hindsight, Glenelg won as many premierships as Norwood last season
