Four losses into the season and already a so called supporter of the WAFC club has decided to send in hate mail to the coach.....

Still, I am tipping that it did not have a name or address on the letter.

I hope all Westies fans back their new coach as they are going through their current struggle. Having finished bottom with a major turnover of the playing list is going to be no easy task to reverse their form. Yet given time I have no doubt that they will, yet whiteanting the coach will only ever make that goal harder to reach as has been the case with my own club and John Reid in particular.

The fact that Andy Collins makes regular contributions to the website for all members and supporters suggests to me that he's not the type to shy away from his responsibilities, which is an excellent characteristic (be nice to have some of that out East).

Noone wants to be patient, but it's realistically going to take a season for him to develop his style and ascertain what changes he needs to bring to the playing personnel to achieve his and the clubs goals.

I'd back Collins any time. He seems like a considered but straight down the line bloke, the sort of person the club needs to drag it back from the abyss.

99.9 % of Westies supporters are backing Collins all the way...there is always going to be someone who is not happy no matter who the coach is...

very harsh (if true) they were 'competitive' against south & norwood & were in front of a finalist from last year at half time on sunday, the thing i didn't like about westies tactics were its flooding but they were there to do a job & it worked for a half & had it worked for a full game collins would be labelled a guru by the person who sent the 'hate mail' in the first place, it took my mob years to finally get it right so give the bloke a chance

In light of the topic, I hope many of them are putting that support formally in writing to the coach himself.

Andy Collins would be too intelligent to allow hate mail to bother him if it wasn't signed or an approriate reply address attached. He also knows every club has their share of tossers, it goes with the territory of coaching a football club unfortunately.

I feel he just wanted to let this nimrod know that hey i got your letter and i am here to stay now get a life. I really want Westies to win this week to stick it up this simpleton.

I know for a fact that Andy will be sent a very lot of emails supporting him to the max.He is here to stay, as for the person who wrote the letter, keep up your health insurance incase you if you get caught out.

i remember going to glenelg v west last year and being told the playing group was capable of being top 3, and most of the bloods fans here knew who it was.................could it be them???????

Hate mail to the coach???

Why waste your time writing a letter the cost of a envelope and stamp when you can post on footy forums and bag the club, players and officials. Even though they say they don't read them it is amazin how much gets back!

That seems to work at the NAFC!!!

That person that wrote it is a tool. If the person is a member he membership should be revoked. Give Andy a chance he has only been club 5 minutes

My bet the idiot that got banned

bag the coach after 2-3 years if things arent going well. let him come to the club and develop things, there was some things that had to be thrown out which involves a losing culture, it normally takes a new coach 2-3 years to change things.
