The combined total of 8,204 beats the previous low of 10,811 in 1999.

1,219 is the lowest crowd between Central and West - previous low was 1,426 at Richmond in Round 14 1993
It's also the lowest crowd that Central has had at Richmond - previous low was 1,371 vs South in Round 10 1964

The Sunday Mail had 3.5k at the Unley game and I nearly choked, Choco style, as it was pretty thin on the hill. I think they rectified it on another page with a crowd closer to 2000 which sounds more accurate.

This is another one for the "I hate it when the media gets it wrong"

The 3490 was last weeks crowd! What is it, a template that was just copied and pasted?

Ridiculous.

Anyway, the crowd figure should now total 6,949. Which was less than the Port/Norwood match last week.

There will be claims of cloud seeding in order to make our crowds look better. ;)

That depends on which team that would have been replaced. :)

Which would explain why it also said 'Reports: Nil' when I'm pretty sure Clayton was booked

Is there a clear trend?
Is it happening in WA too?
Are the state leagues slowly fading away?
Or, is it a fluctuation that has occurred before?

Poor weather. There's always only around 7-9k for 4 matches on the one day that is not good weather wise.

To paraphrase Oscar Wilde , 'The topic that dare not speaks its name".

We all hope not, but crowd trends say otherwise. :(

Or do they? :-k
