Who are each teams injury concerns going into Rd 1?
For Sturt, James McLeay is a 50/50 but recent word is that he should be right to go...
what about your club?

				North:
Alleway - Ankle 50/50 but unlikely
Koops - ankle, test 80/20 should play
Ivens - hamstring tighness 80/20 should play
B. White - concussssion - test should play
Cox - match fitness/knee soreness - unlikely but may play ressies
Coulter - groin, 3-4 weeks at best before return thru the ressies
Upside of our injuries is more depth this year plus it looks like Lonie will play at north this week and Frncou a chance but I think this week if he plays it will be in the two's.

I thought Flo played, he was named on the team list. I believe that Lomas played too.

I didn't think Lonie was a chance to play with us this week, would be a pretty handy inclusion.

First time Lonie and handy have ever been used in the same sentence.

I think Collingwood supporters might disagree. No more than handy though.

Yes of course your side wouldn't pick him I suppose?

Given we chose before North in the mini draft and chose Matt Thomas I think the answer to your question is no.

Okay so you won't play any of your returning AFL listed players of the same ability as Lonie?

Good lord, what was I thinking.
Lonie is a heroic figure, struck in bronze who strides Prospect Oval like the footballing God he is.
Hope this clears things up drebin and sorry for any misunderstanding.

Okay smart arse - I was just posing a sensible question unlike your belittling attempt at "sarcastic humour". If you think Lonie is so poor an AFL fringe player - who would be a better and experienced fringe AFL player at your club?. Personally I don't want to see any of North's AFL players at Prospect this year because we have heavily recruited around not having them and it will cause selection problems with them coming up and down.

What's Collingwood got to do with it?

Evans is the obvious one that wont be back for a few more rounds. Unsure if there are any other injury concerns.
Still 50-50 about whether Lonie will play with the Power in Round 1. His pre season hasnt been overly impressive...but experienced recruits seem to have an instant "gold pass" into their AFL side for at least the first month of the AFL season. If Symes plays for the Power this week then I think Lonie may miss out. It will be between them in my opinion.

People- don't confuse Nathan Lonie (ex-Hawthorn, current Power) with Ryan Lonie (Collingwood)- they are twins, but play for different clubs, shouldn't be too hard to work out who's who

Imho, Nathan will be a valuable contributor at SANFL level- Topsy, maybe your club could start winning games before being "selective" about who is worthy of wearing the unimaginative Norwood jumper (in lycra even...)?

About the same - maybe a draw! Who else have you got!
