This is the second week in a row 'the goss' has copied us.

Piss weak reporting and I have forwrded on the details to media watch.....

Wedgie should charge him comisssion . He should however acknowledge his source.

Doesnt look word for word in my copy and journos using this site to get info is hardly ground breaking, its been happening for years!

Don't worry about it. I'm sure his bosses will also be aware of this and realise they could pay any monkey to do his job. Soon enough they'll find someone who is on the ball enough to actually come up with the info on their own. Several of the stories he writes have been well after the event, and not even that difficult to notice if he had his wits about him.

The journo is question's actually a very nice bloke and a reasonable journalist.
Journalists have plenty of sources....this is just one of them.

Guys can you stop with the personal digs. Feel free to pay out the paper as a whole but dont target individuals.
The reason I ask is I did the same once before and although I was spot on as you may be I almost wound up in court.

Thats how Journos make a living, if he is copying stuff off of here I say it is a huge pat on the back for the forum, mods and posters, as he obviously trusts this site and what is posted on here.

I think it's entirely relevant to knock a guy who by not saying he copied the info from another form of media is effectively claiming it as his own. An author of a book or paper is required to list references of media usedso I think it's only reasonable to acknowledge another form of media in the same manner in a paper. I think it's unfair and unethical of him to cite him source when it's another public form of media. It's not like someone gave him an off the record whipser in a corridor somewhere.

No one has actually confirmed which story it is alleged he typed word for word...
