That makes it 5 times that a North-Eagles game has been shown on TV since the start of last year's finals (3 this year, twice in last year's finals)

I don't think that 'it's likely to be close' is a decent rationale for deciding to give preferential treatment to a game/team where other factors weigh against it.If it were, then Centrals and (this year) Glenelg and Sturt would get less TV coverage for being too good. Closeness is notoriously hard to predict anyway (e.g. Central v South being closer than Eagles v Norwood a couple of weeks ago).Wedgie wrote:SimonH wrote: The decision to broadcast the NA v Eags match in round 16, when both sides were already over-quota, it's no blockbuster, and there are 3 other Saturday arvo games, could be kindly described as bizarre.
It does look more appealing than the other 3 games though which all shape up as drubbings, I suppose from there point of view, why drive further than 5 minutes away from Collinswood when its the more appealing game on paper?

Try and be sensible Wedgie, or perhaps we could call the league the Adelaide Metro FL.....
