Some mighty fine people come from that part of the State.

Chris Stacey as previously mentioned hails from Jamestown and played for Freeling last year. Is 23yo about 188 to 190 cm tall but rather skinny, left footed and solid overhead. What impressed me about his game in the back pocket was that he didn't panic in a crisis and his left footers hit a target every time.
Was very impressive against South adelaide and followed this up with another solid game against Centrals. Last week I spoke to him at the Thebarton trial Vs Glenelg where he was out with a slight injury and he said that he did 2002 pre-season with NA but was discarded at the Xmas break - very keen to make the Eagles league team on a permanent basis.

Westbrook worked out well coming down from the country, so hopefully Stacey can add something to the Eagles this year. Where did Todd Price come from? Any info on him?

I saw your post on the Eagles forum - might be interesting come season's end depending on where the Eagles end up. Interesting to see 3 or 4 Eagles players enjoying the hospitality at Prospect and enjoying Jars after match speech. One heard to comment about the difference in atmosphere and bigger crowd etc at Propsect compared to Woodville re after match presentations. Passador on crutches I noticed - looks like more than a calf injury too?

Tim Inkster was one of the others there, the lads seemed to be enjoying themselves.
Damn packed in there though, time for an expansion North!

Perhaps these Eagles players might like to be more regular attendees at Prospect? Say... on a weekly basis? They'd look good in our club jacket & tie!

I just coped flak for jumping off the ship ,I have never jumped off the Eagles ship never will.
But whoever wrote our coach is down South aRRRRRRRRGGGGGhhhh i hope not .
Passadors injury was right in front of where we were sitting looked like cramp to start with or a hammy .
Pretty sure the Eagles will improve just look at they way we played after 1/2 time ,we need more pace and that was in the 2's yesterday, watchout bays next week I hope the guys are hungrier for the ball next week!!

I think MacGowan would be a better choice than Pyman who, unless a miracle occurs will be out of job by seasons end. 5RPH boys were giving him the last rites on the Thursday night football show. If South fail and can't make the finals by half way through the season can we expect a change at Panther land?
