The Bays are Definately no Premiership Threat!!

I think a couple of Bay supporters are getting a little ahead of themselves. They speak of North's glory days at the foot of the table pre ANJ. I think, and Spelly might correct me, we were battling for those spoons with the "Dashing and Gays...". Anyway history shows us the Bays can only beat the Roosters in GF's (Post WWII that is) so Dogs and Blues supporters must be licking their lips 'cause my beloved Roosters wont be anywhere near that 1st weekend in October. History is a strong influence in Footy and some Bay supporters would do well to remember that. 1986 was a long time ago and windows can slam shut pretty quickly.

Great game Sunday hey Daveswar....

I'm just loving how it is we Bays supporters getting attacked/canned on here now, not our club. Just goes to show we are on the right track when they can't criticise our playing, coaching and administration groups.

Hows the serenity

Don't tarnish them all because of one tool Dave.
And if you think Glenelg aren't a premiership thread you're kidding yourself, same thing was said by some about Geelong last year because of "history".

Still a long way from Oct. TM.

I have too many Bay Mates Wedgie and yes they are a Prem threat but my heart says they are my Port/Collingwood/Carlton. I don't have to like them do I?

Yep, Sturt and the Dogs are still the two teams to beat.

unfortunately dave, the bays are HUGE favs right now for the flag. History might'n be too kind to them since they have underachieved in their lifetime, but atm, they are playing ******* good footy and look streets ahead with only Sturt, then the Dogs any real chance of knocking them off. Even Sturt and the Dogs will battle it out twice more I think so the Dogs could very well move into 2nd place but it still wont be enough. The dogs have the history on their side, well recent history, but they will need a lot more than that to match up well with the tigers.

all over, its good to have a diff flag fav than the dogs or eags but im hoping to christ they fk it up and certain fans of theirs will then disappear from this site again.

so in reality, they are a premiership threat and if you cant see that then you are living in a cave 10km under the sea.

Your opinion will only strengthen our resolve at Tigerland, to shoving it right up each and every one of your sour graped arses if and when we are successful.
In the meantime, stick to white anting your own club. Thats what youre good at.

I think you are playing ducks and drakes TT 8)

you cant be serious. the gays have thumped the dogs twice now and beaten sturt twice although they were both tough games but as your fans say, they still did enough to win and win without certain players etc etc.

its hard to accept what you say when fans brag about how great they are at the moment and great footy they are playing.

lol, nah you don't, must admit Im pretty torn as some of my best mates are down there and I have a lot of time for Glenelg as most would attest, but you just need one or two of them acting like complete bitter parasites after being missing for years and it does leave a bitter taste in your mouth, why a minority of them are spending more time worrying about North as opposed to enjoying things while their own team is doing so well says more about them than their club.

Bays are damned if they do, damned if they don't.

North are just damned.

Wow LL, The nerve ends are exposed aren't they. I love the "if and when" sentiment. You are a true bay supporter and finals have burnt you badly in the past. These are the bay supporters I know and love. As for white anting you've obviously not read a single one of my posts re NAFC you dont bag your own families history if you respect the family your in.

Agreed long way from Oct not sure where you got that inference from my post??

LOL Jimmy I'd hardly say we've thumped the Dogs twice Jimmy. In two game against both Sturt and Centrals our combined winning margins in the respective games is less than four goals agaisnt each club. Wins are wins but I'd hardly say that the wins have been of such magnitude to make us out-right flag favourites, just ask SP!!!!

Lot of respect being offered to both Sturt and Centrals down at Brighton Rd I can assure all of you of that.
