EAGLES UNHAPPY CHAPPYS

Postby mal » Mon Apr 10, 2006 6:40 pm

FROM THE EAGLES VRS GLENELG GAME

An extremely reliable source informs me that there were
some unhappy Eagles players at half time.
Some players were in involved in some heated exchanges.

All is not well from within the camp.

Can anyone confirm or elaborate this information.

I don't know if this was in the media at all, but I heard a member of the Eagles' 2005 GF team, who was in the paper last year for all the wrong reasons (not related to football), will not be playing football again due to injuries received in a car accident. I hadn't heard about it until yesterday, but I don't get to read the Advertiser all that often. :)

EAGLES ARE UNHAPPY CHAPPIES

Postby TERROR » Mon Apr 10, 2006 10:28 pm

MAL
Give it a break, there was no incident in the change rooms at halve time.
Lose two games and the rumours begin.
Wait until the end of the season before we start making judgements

That's a shame. Hopefully he recovers fully and can get back on the park in the near future. Was a real surprise packet last year and played well in the Grand Final.

As for the Eagles players being unhappy at half time ... well, you would think they would be! If they were happy there was something wrong! They came out in the third quarter and kicked 6 goals so whatever was said in the changerooms worked.

The Eagles are unhappy chaps, well what do you expect, they have lost both games. So unless you all like losing you would expect them not to be happy.

i think that you will find that the information is correct about the Eagles getting a little restless with eachother.

they may well have come out and kicked 6 goals in the third quarter and you all think it worked but what you have to remember is the third quarter is the only quarter really dominated by the Eagles and that Glenelg have a strong history of going to sleep for a period in the game and the third quarter last saturday was it.

so the players dont get on, it couldnt happen to two better clubs!!!!!!
