Ok Topsy I have a fair idea who the new recruit is but I will not say for sure,in case I am wrong. And I assume he is referring to Ben Schwarze leaving and I am asking if he is going home .

Makes you wonder what ???

Who are these "guys" that every club is chasing...

What is the point of these posts if names aren't mentioned, just useless gossip and inuendo...

Names would still make it gossip and innuendo ... The only time it won't be is when a player or club give credence to it.

You will find that if Shane Valenti becomes available the Eagles will not be able to afford him. As he is coming out of the AFL system and the perfect age he will attract a salary of between 60-70k, the clubs with the brown paper bag payment system will be knocking loudest on his door.

Skipworth not a certainty to end up at Eagles, he's holding off for the draft, but by then Eagles will have done thier shopping. The money required for a player like skipworth cant be left sitting there just in case he doesnt get drafted, so my strong mail is that the Eagles will miss out!

That is exactly correct Swampy...he will need to commit soon if he comes over, I am hoping his friendship with Kenneth may help any decision our way.

So he would be paid way more than JC at Port Adelaide.
Surely we(as in WWT) could go forth and buy him depending on the draft .Surely we would have room in the cap ?You know no Lindsey etc and if Ben has gone home that would leave more room in the cap.

But as I have been writing for some time on here the perfect recruit is aged between 23 and 27.To old for the AFL system .

go forth and recruit WWT from every state and territory not just in the big V.

It makes me wonder how a team like mine, West, can ever be competitive with Centrals if the salary cap isn't policed rigorously.

And you don't seriously expect people to name potential recruits on here do you?

most if not all potential recruits will not commit until the drafts are finished in Dec

all SANFL clubs have the same problem

Eagles are also interested in a delisted midfielder from a inner city club in Melbourne

he won't commit yet for the above reason
