what are you looking to see out of it ? personally i'd like to see improvement in all areas of the game compared to last week for us, obviously to see more of the recruits & youngsters & how they go under pressure

no doubt for central it'll be same old same old, while on central congratulations to paul thomas' sister who trained a winner at globe derby on saturday night 'magic technique' (k.pickering)

I'm just looking forward to seeing the red, white and blue for the first time this year (except for a charity 20/20 cricket match ;) ) and of course to see some of the new recruits in action. Also keen to see what promising youngsters from last season get a chance in the league side.

Can't wait, bring on Saturday :D

A few interesting names in the league squad for Centrals and looking forward to seeing the likes of Alloca, Duncan, Frail, Henderson, Hynes, White and Jenner given a shot at league level.

Certainly some quality blokes still missing to come back into either the league or reserves side with the likes of Lawry, Hadden, L.Westhoff, M.Westhoff (Power), Hayes, Schell, Havelberg, Sibenaler, O'Hara, Slade, Brading not named for the trials, meaning our depth will certainly be strong this year.

I would assume it is Ricky Henderson, the Crows rookie and basketball convert...

I would say the Henderson named in the reserves is either him as well or a youngster coming up from the Under 19's.

EDIT: Just read over on the Centrals forum that there are 2 x Hendersons at the club now. Ricky, the Crow Rookie and Anthony Henderson from Broken Hill. A small crumbing forward who showed some promise in the internal trial match last week

Quarter time:

Centrals 3.0.18
Glenelg 3.2.20

For the first trial for both sides it's been a reasonably good game so far.

Half time

Centrals 5.2.32
Glenelg 10.5.65

As the scoreboard shows, Glenelg dominated that quarter. Several sloppy plays by Centrals, to be expected for the first trial. Also a couple of undisciplined incidents - Gowans gave away a 50 for giving the ump a serve (he wasn't even in the play), and a scuffle inside Centrals 50 saw a Centrals free reversed when thex had the momentum late in the quarter.

Any word on Henderson?

3 Quarter Time

Centrals 8.6.54
Glenelg 12.5.77

Centrals were more cohesive that quarter. A couple of great plays.

NFC, Henderson has played good so far. A couple of good plays so far.
