Port v Eagles @ Thebby - Match of the Season (so far)

Most had thought that the match of the season so far would be next Saturday at Prossie but with North going backwards with injuries I honestly think tomorrow's game will be the biggie of the year so far.
IMHO the Eagles have a bigger advantage at Thebby than they do at Woodville due to other clubs not ever playing there and a real emotional tie with Thebby.
You can hear the ghosts of Thebby calling out to you as you drive down South Rd, its a unique place.
Also the Maggies are playing great footy and the Eagles are just starting to get back into the groove with a few players coming back gradually from injury.

Im hoping for a fine day tomorrow as there could be well more than 6,000 people there as a couple of thousand Torrens fans tend to come out of the woodwork for it.

I'm really looking forward to this game and look forward to attending my first game there since in the late 80s, I'll post pics tomorrow night.

Be there or be square!

As long as the poor weather clears during the morning, 6000 should be there.

I'll be there anyway, no matter what the weather is.

I might start a 12 hour bidding comp on Ebay.

Last night depending on how cold it was I wore either North or Cats colours and both teams lost.
Today I wore blue and white to the Bays games and the Panthers lost.

Still trying to decide if I'll wear one of my Australia or Leeds Rhinos Rugby League (or perhaps my AFL Australia jersey) tops that have yellow, blue or green or my Adelaide City top that is black and white.

Come on Port and Eagles fans, highest bid will have me wear the other team's colours and put the kiss of death on them!
