Eagles v Magpies

Postby eaglehaslanded » Sat May 06, 2006 10:20 pm

I have just come across some important information relating to the 2 teams for sunday's blockbuster
In: Skipworth (Eagles)
Out: Maric (Magpies)
Just what the maggies didn't need to happen the big man Maric has been called into the Crows side and will not line up. They need every big man they've got left because they have an up hill battle against the SANFL's best big man in Paul Lindsay. Also another bad note the Eagles supreme onballer Skipworth will return for the crucial game. I'm expecting the Eagles returning to Thebby will win the battle of the birds by 27 points.

Not that your biased or anything.

Port's onballers will just love the wet conditions, negating any possible advantage you might think you have in the ruck.

3 more Magarey votes for J Clayton coming up.

This might sound weird but if it was at Adelaide Oval, Woodville Oval, Footy Park or Alberton I'd pick Port but I think the Eagles will grow/do grow an extra leg at Thebby as its the true spiritual home of the Eagles.
I'm picking the Eagles in a thriller and I'm really looking forward to going to the game tomorrow, it should be a block buster, everyone, not just supporters of either club should make an effort to get to this game.
I can't wait!

I pay someone to mow my lawns (never mowed a lawn in my life) and in regards to the rest when everything falls apart I'll sell up and move to another house.
I'm the same with cars.
Luckily I have a Mrs who has her priorities right too!
Footy 1st
Drinking piss and partying 2nd
Everything else 3rd
(Family committments in regard to my kids takes precedent over them though and my daughter already has the look of a star netballer)

Seriously though, I do **** all around the house except for when expecting visitors, and I'll pay someone to do something if it needs doing, life's too short and people like me are good for the economy!!

Also got Auskick to go to tomorrow where both my son and daughter will be involved, that's way more important than fixing the leak in the roof, as long as the comptuer still works everything is sweet!

PS My mum hates me for it too but I take after my old man, always have, always will, without sounding to racist I think its the aboriginal blood in me! (Dad's side)

Surjan will be an in for the Magpies as well won't he? Wasn't listed in the Magpies team and didn't play for the Power tonight.

Wanganeed is not playing tomorrow.
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

Cool
My Port workmates were telling me how the wet weather would help the power against the Crows well it did for 1 quarter.I added that it will be just an advantage for the eagles against port (all week I have heard that Port are unbeatable why bother to go)at thebby you should've seen their faces drop when I said that !!
It will be an interesting game with this awful weather kick with the wind guys

bring it on "pies" give us all you've got, that still won't be enough. Expect the "eags" to be fired up at our spiritual home. It has been 7 years since the "pies" have travelled down there and this arvo won't be any easier with all of our inclusions. I expect the game to be close for the majority but expect us to run way in the end by about 4-5 goals.

Not being biased at all pertentous. Have a good look at sides mate. In: Knights, Skipworth, Cooper, Dabrowski, P.Fiacchi. Come off of it with that sort of experience being added how can we not win. As for J.Clayton he'll be hard up getting a touch let alone 3 magarey votes.

Unless there was another reason as to why he didn't play for the power like an injury maybe, then yes you would be right Aerie.

Sorry to those who I was going to catch up with today and for those expecting pics.
Very hungover and taking the kids to Auskick this morning took it out of me.
I'll post updated scores on here today instead, what a prick of a day it looks outside today.

I havent got this game on radio because I've been watching Jason Roe's pretty impressive debut but Eagles are up by about 20 points I think.
