Bayman, your guess would've won a muffin stump on footysa- but you need to have your estimates in by 4 p fri's (or any old time if therisingblues is running it :o )

Although the weather was bad, that does seem disapointing cd and co.

Two bad crowds if you include Friday night. It must be the threat of bad weather that keeps the 50-50 supporters from going?

As I said i thought about 3500+ today - i thought was closer to 4 than 3 but i'm not too flash at this crowd estimate thing it seems - given that the stands at Thebby arent the largest and the weather was threatening it wasn't too bad.

Hopefully the next time Thebby is used is the weather will be kinder to the SANFL - that will be North v Eagles and is again an SANFL organised neutral game - home match tickrts not valid only season tickets or buy at the gate.

Poor crowd I thought. Mind you, it was bloody cold out there and the threat of heavy rain was on the cards all day. There were a few showers during both matches but nothing serious.

Still, I thought there would have been another 1000 or so people there. The outer was very sparse.

Friday night and Sundays crowds are both disappointing. For the four flag favourites to only pull 6,500 with no competition from the Adelaide based AFL teams is a worry. Once again, how much is promotion of these games a factor. Very little in all forms of media, and don't tell me those Tim Shaw ad's are helping-they're crap.

I agree Giffo. The SANFL just dont care. If they did, they would choose the game of the round each week and pay the media to get coverage.
