Just wondering who people would put in South's team of the Decade?

Any thoughts

Certainly Clay Sampson as captain, and Ben Warren at FF. And I guess the coach would have to be Robert Pyman because he got them into the finals in 2006.

Renegades Rhys Archard, Scott McGlone and Chris Hall would have to rate a mention, as would Jason Torney, Craig Parry and James Boyd from their current list.

And throw in Gerrard Bennett as well.

That's just a few off the top of the head.

You can't be serious? how many games did he end up playing for the Panthers this decade? Besides kicking 8 one day he didn't do much more i thought.

Scott Webb should be in the side for mine and another I'd pick would be Stephen Kenna...

I agree with Sampson, Warren, Hall, Archard, McGlone and Bennett...

Was Simon Crawshay in this decade or was he late 90's, otherwise Parry to lead the ruck...

Trent Mills would be in my side, while fan favourite Kym Cobb would have to get a gig and maybe Trent Ormond Allen...

Peter Johnson went alright at CHF for a couple of years from memory, while Dean Talbot should be in the side...

You'd be pretty tempted to put Alwyn Davey in the side, the kid is a gun, would have Boyd in there as well...

One from left field, as he was only here for 1 year, but Justin Berry from Frankston was a pretty good player...

Maybe others for consideration would be Rod Tregenza, Clinton King, Kym Koster, Mark Demasi, Josh Thewlis, Tom Hateley and Matthew Smith...

When did Andrew Osborne retire?

Handby? He seems to have given the Panthers loyal service, certainly more than some others mentioned.

Wouldn't have thought Kym Koster played much for South since 2000?

Based on that Saintal, you'd have to include Cupido too.

Lade surely played more than Nigel Smart.

This thread says so much about South Adelaide.
Not only the past decade but it's history.

Would this team beat Hackham ?

I agree that this team says a hell of a lot about South Adelaide and its history, particularly in recent times. Yes this team would beat Hackham and would beat a lot of very very good sides as well.
