The Doggies have their best line-up of the season, always play well against the Panthers down there.

I'm very excited about this game.

Good to see Stewey Cochrane and Adam Switala back and Dew's always welcome.

Doggies to win.

How come North are the only team that can't beat Central?
Is it because Central always seem to lift a cog against us or is it just plain and simply the fact that we're they're bitches?

Maybe it was just a fluke Wedgie. In past seasons we could be off a bit and still win well, but now with a lack of quality and experience to pick from if we are off our game a tad we get smashed. We look slow, lazy and our skill level is appauling, after our last win everyone was talking flags again but I think it will be a challenge in its self to make the 5.Steinberner is to have an operation and Aufderheide maybe out for the season,Stewie Dew will be back at the Power nexy week and S.Cochrane has done his hammy again.Things are not looking good atleast we picked up some gun recruits who are struggling to get a kick in the ressies.ON a brighter note I spose has anybody ventured out to the scoreboard side at Panther Park and met some of the FRIENDLY LOCALS of Noarlunga. They give the umps and oppo players a mouthful of spit and some other shit they dribble, one day some player will belt one of them.Love to see an Eagles South GF,imagine the crowd at Footy Park.Feeling pretty depressed after yesterday so dont take too much of my shit seriously,I`m also a Crows supp What a weekend.

Terry, I will just correct you on a few points,

1. Panther Park is situated at St Marys approx 10 miles north of Noarlunga. South have never played a league game there and never will. We used to train there 20yrs ago.its now in westies zone.

2. As for your comments re "locals" at Noarlunga ,I would suggest that perhaps Elizabeth holds the trophy for that one.

3. As a regular at Noarlunga I can say that the only time I have EVER seen a police presence there is strangely enough every time Centrals visit.

Are all 23 of their wins against North in the last 24 games flukes?

South can beat anyone on their day IMHO. At their best they could be top, at the worst they could be 7th.

Or maybe the Noarlunga police are Central supporters :)

Where did South play home games before Adel Oval?

Was it Bice Oval? If so why didnt they move back? Still close to Noarlunga and a bit more sheltered from the wind.

As far as I know, South always played their home games at Adelaide Oval before moving to Noarlunga. I don't recall them playing at Bice, but they may have briefly in the 1990s.

We played a demo game against the legs at Bice Oval to test the support in the area for South to relocate. Can't remember the exact year but Brendon Lade played for South and Michael Aish was in the Legs team. The crowd was 10000 plus.

At various stages South have had home grounds at Kensington Park and the South Parklands and one or two others.
