Interesting note from North vs Port game

Postby Jimmy » Fri May 26, 2006 1:31 am

After careful thought...i have editted the post due to some whinging. All ill say is be careful at footy matches as some here can attest to issues getting out of hand.

Be vigilant as always, enjoy your footy and remember, its just a game. :D

Could be true, but then again, it could just be someone with sour grapes who just wants to piss off the Port CS.
Personally, I don't think you should have made this public announcement without the allegations being substantiated first, IMHO, poor form Jimmy.

Nothing to worry about, my experiences with the Port Adelaide Cheer Squad are that they are as tough as the wet crepe paper they threw at me as a Glenelg trainer in the '92 Grannie.

Why did Leory always give me the north east pocket.....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

The old "knife in the secret compartment of the flag" trick, that's the second time the police have fallen for that this month :)

Can confirm this...apparently he was getting his mission info from a guy in the carpark near Prossie Oval.

Something happened to Gordon and Radcliffe 35 years ago, theres probably no increased likelihood that anything would happen in today's time or that anything would be more likely to happen at the footy than any other public place.

i will say this as a port cheer squad memeber. That is 100% complety false. We dont mind a bit of banter and we will stand our ground if we have to, but also remember that we are a family cheer squad. having talked to the coppers at the game they first of all didnt know why they were needed in such numbers. The north fans they arrestted was casue 1 copper is a wanker and had a hard on. Also they were no weapons found on anyone. So yeah poor form jimmy know what you are talking about before you speak.
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

Thanks for clearing that up WSC, I must admit I've had some fun/banter with the Port Cheersquad over the years and they certainly don't look the sort to have knives, even though a few may be a bit rough around the edges I'm pretty sure the older element wouldn't put up with that sort of shennigans. It might have been a bitter North fan as the "leader" of the North Cheer Squad did get kicked out that day. I'll lock this thread as the issue has now been addressed. Play on..
