This state would be stuffed if it wasn't for the Bays players.

I still can't understand why the best Ruckman in the league, in Lindsay, isn't in the state side for tonight's game. He played last year, but isn't this year. Can the selectors justify leaving him out. I don't think that they can.
Although it would be good for the SA u18s to win, I can't see it happening.

That Under 20's squad looks quite weak, really. Lewis and Grieger are the only two you would call established League players, and they play for West!

But I guess that is to be expected, as that is the age when a player is most likely to be in the AFL system - old enough to be drafted, but too young to be delisted yet.

So I wouldn't be surprised if the Under 18s are favourites in this game, they would also have more to play for with AFL scouts watching.

Hurley under 18's captain - well done.

Good to see Paley in the under 20's I think he is not far of a league game.

I thought Waterhouse would be in line up for SANFL this year.

They are obviously one big forward (particularly CHF) short. Howard a state CHF - surely not?

Agreed, hard to beleive there is not one CHF that couldn't make the team then play Schell and Warren together up forward.

Agreed. The absence of Gill and Baird leaves a gaping hole.

Whiteman on Lange...I can hardly wait.
