He played his 1st aginst Norwood Orange Legs.

Will the Eagles game this week be his 2nd or was the state game?

I'm not sure, if North had a normal bye it would have counted as one game, I can only assume its the same with the State Game bye?

Why give a toss to find out if he is eligible for finals or not?

Once North's 8 or so injured players are back on the park, their squad will be streets above the rest (maybe not much so over Port), with or without motlop.

Come finals time, they just need to play well (average or better) to win the flag or at least make a GF appearance. (again with our without motlop).

I think Motlop will play a few more in the SANFL, then head back to the power. So he probably will get those three games.

It has been said that the Power were glad that he kicked some goals but they wanted more !!!

I think he will stay @ North if the Power win again this week.

Just because their squad will be stronger it doesnt mean their team will be.

Correct, thats why I said they just need to play well. Whether they have Motlop or not wont make a difference. If they have their full list of players to choose from in the finals, anything less than a GF appearance will be a disappointment. Believe me, being a legs fan I know whats its like.

Every good player u can possibly get ur hands on makes adifference.

Of course North are better off with Motlop the guy is a match winner at SANFL level. A star!

Point taken, but I wouldnt go saying he's a star just on his 3rd qtr performance the other week. Granted he turned the game around off his own boot, but not without your midfielders giving good supply.

I reckon he will be eligible if he plays this week as the state game bye should count. Just remember, he's a power player and come finals time he may be required to "rest due to soreness".

Gavin wanganeen however will play for the magpies in his swansong, and may even give the team the drive to win the flag for wangas.

North would not have won without motlop brilliance.
