some huge outs there but some enthusiastic youth to come in...well done to davies and paley on thier debuts...paley has been kicking bags in the 2's, only a young buck too!!

we have gone from our most experienced side that got flogged 3 weeks ago to our most inexperienced side in 1 game.

Not Looking good Bays 3 quick goals in the last quarter and the margin back 3 points.
13.5 vs 12.8

Best game I've seen all year. I've seen the Bays a few times this year and today they were definitely down making some uncharacteristically poor decisions. The Blues youngsters really did a great job today. Hurley reads the ball so well. Bentley and Taylor were superb. We'll probably lose Deluca next week. And the veterans in Feast, Sheedy and Nelson (great to see him in the centre) played with a lot more energy and passion than in recent weeks. Bays did very well in the last quarter but Blues too good overall. Go you MIGHTY BLUES!

all credit goes to the Double Blues who played as a committed team, unlike the opposition they faced today. GLenelg were 'gone' in the second quarter and the 1 point margin is extremely flattering to say the least. I think they eventually rocked up in the last quarter for a few minutes when they drew level, but that was when the run ended.

The Blues went in as complete underdogs and I think for the first time in a long time Glenelg went in expecting a win and just got complacent thinking it was just going to happen for them.

I just hope that we learn the lesson that sturt showed us today.

FEUCK ME, I lose a longneck of WE Draught to my Sturt supporting brother. CURSES.

Well done Sturt for getting the chocolates. Hopefully my boys learn from this. The loss will be acceptable if we learn our lessons and improve next week. If not we as a club need to TAGHLAO.

Go you Mighty Tigers, onwards and upwards!!
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Cheers for that Jimmy.
Remember seeing one or two sarcastic comments at the time and thought there may have been even more to it than just not being able to get a league game. Taylor certainly looks a very competent SANFL footballer and I can assure you he more than played his part yesterday.

I just read online that Sheedy was at the Sturt V Glenelg game to watch Gibbs and Sellar, but was highly impressed with Hurley, who put in a gr8 performance. Very pleasing to hear the young ones still coming through!!
What school did he go to?

I think that he ( Hurley ) will get drafted.

Probably just made his pecking order a bit higher on the weekend.

Well done to him.
