MST and SP won't believe who I voted for after their performance on the weekend, hey I'm allow to vote with my heart

JimBob agree with your sentiments 100%, some eagles supporter make it very easy to wish for mis-fortune to strike them again in a GF.

Mind you I long for the days when we were shite in GFs
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I voted for Norwood because I honestly haven't got a clue who will win, and I thought it would be nice for my club to get at least one vote :)

Port and North have been all the talk but they look shaky at times. Eagles have the cattle but it's hard to tip them with any confidence given their ordinary Grand Final record, I think Norwood, Glenelg and South have a way to go before arguing their premiership chances, and Sturt and West will spend their petrol tickets just trying to make the five. Then there's Central District. How can anyone boldly predict they can't win it again? A number of tipsters were writing them off this time last season and the Dogs shoved it right in their faces. So how's that for a non-commital answer? I really have no idea at this stage, and I think that's good for the competition.

Purely speculative.

I mean damn, I can't even work out who the best SIDE is in the league - let alone who will win the flag.
Top three losing, bottom three winning.. (granted one was Centrals) - who knows.

If the Eagles and North that played on the weekend turned up in a final, we would win.
If the Eagles and North that played at the start of the year turned up in a final - they would win.

I'm pretty sure that, before last weekend, if Port met Westies in a final - you'd back Port 100 times out of 100.

Ahh I love Footy.

Now I am not for one minute suggesting Sturt could win the flag, or that I would have voted for them even if given the option, but therein lies my complaint.

We are not yet half way into season 2006 yet two sides have been left off the voting form. Sturt, with a game in hand on the rest of the competition, are potentially only one game plus percentage out of the five FFS!! Glenelg, Norwood and South have no bigger or better opportunity than Sturt or West to win a premiership this year.

I choose to boycott this ludicrous poll.

If indeed it was designed to raise the ire of Sturt and West faithful, then consider it mission accomplished. :butthead:

I think that the results show how many supporters of each team have bothered to vote in this poll.

For the purposes of this I haven't included either Sturt or West because they will both be hard pressed making finals let alone the Grand Final. Maybe I should do a poll on who will win the wooden spoon I'll make sure I Include Sturt just to keep you happy.

No MST it wasn't designed to raise the ire of Sturt & West supporters I was hoping for peoples genuine feedback and as such I was hoping people choosing to vote would vote truly on who they thought would win the premiership and not who they barrack for. Choose to boycott the poll if you wish, but this was put together as a chance to air our thoughts not as a chance for you to bag eagles supporters you narrow minded twit. The reason Sturt and West were left off is the fact that after nine rounds they have won a total of 3 games between them, hardly what you'd consider finals material ha.
