Ghost at Norwood Oval

Well, it may be the off season but there is something spooky going on at Norwood Oval at the moment.

In the last fortnight, a ghost has been showing itself at the ground.

Apparently the ghost died on the ground in 1972 and no one has ever seen it before. However, it doesn't seem to have any qualms about showing itself.

Tonight, I was at the ground with a few others and the CEO told us about it. A bit later I walked out to the middle of the ground with another person and in no time, it appeared.  :-o

The Groundsman has been there for nearly 21 years, and apparently even he has never seen it before and now he is seeing it every day.

Squark, you have really torn it now lad. Hand in the membership mate

Might as well give out number 0 at the guernsey presentation now that our best kept secret is out.

Ghost has always taken up the "vacant hole" position around the centre, if anyone doubts this, does anyone remember when "Buckets" of Centrals was all alone in the centre in the last quarter late in the season and the pass went just a little wide and he fell over backing through the centre, Norwood picked up the ball and goaled, MATE that was Ghost. ;)

Cheers

Remember it? I'm still laughing now.

And to think I thought it was because McKenzie has the coordination of a carthorse.

Cmon GL, surely you're not too old to have ever played Pacman??

I really hope our Ghost is a midfielder, and preferably one that can perform under lights.

It could be the death of the PAFC club coming to haunt Norwood again.

Seriuosly the ghost at Norwood supposedly died about 38 years ago, our CEO is in the know of who it is and what it's about
Probably explains why the club has turned around since he came on board, plays the wiggie board does our Dom.

Cheers
