Quite amused to look at the premiership table in the Sunday Mail (which is correct) with North on top only to read Doug Robertson's article telling us in the first paragraph that the Eagles are top by percentage.
Come on Doug, get a calculator!

not dougs only mistake for the w/end as if you read his article on fridays preview of the glenelg/wwt game we have two new players as it was brad smith (he must be back) instead of jeff & aaron james instead of rogers, ironically glenelg did sign james a few years back but he got picked up after being delisted but we all make mistakes but who is the proof reader !!!!

Is to be expected from a one paper town. Try getting it on the net, Statewide section is now gone, business sections and football is seldom upgraded. The photo galleries are updated seems monthly.
I emailed the editor about the country footy scores last year. The reply was: oh we dont have the resources for that.

Another mistake is the Eagles score at quarter time today. It should be 1.3, not 0.3, and according to Doug, 23 kicks, 12 marks and 1 handball adds up to 35 disposals for Inkster, and 14 kicks and 3 handballs adds up to 27 disposals for Jarrad!

It's not just Doug, last weekend I went to look in the Sunday Fail for my sons footy results. He plays in the Eagles zone, but I eventually found his results in the West Adelaide zone results.
Today I look at the Eagles zone, and the first team I read is Glenelg PS

, sorry Bays, you've lost the school next to the oval, and they've been given to the Eagles

According to Monday's Addy, Central had kicked 876 points and conceded 948
to have a percentage of 50.8.
This was still the case in Friday's Main Game liftout.
Add this to the SANFL website not having scores and other match details
up to, sometimes, 48 hours after game day, then the people who post
on this site are the only reliable source for people like me, who can't get to games
every Saturday.
Do these media outlets employ proof readers/fact checkers?
If not, I'll gladly move to Adelaide to take up new employment.

I haven't seen your son's side play, but my sons side was playing mini league for the Eagles yesterday.

I read somewhere that Eckermann from Sturt was injured last night but no mention of that in Sturt's injuries either.

The Advertiser TV guide this week tells me I can watching Glenelg playing NORTHERN Adelaide. I might be a bit slow being from the country and all, but did the Dogs and Roosters merge, or has Modbury been admitted to the comp?

The Advertiser and Sunday Mail are being generous to the Eagles, they have the points against as 970, when it should be 971. Ecky, is this what you have, as I'm 100% sure that 971 is correct.
