Round 17 is "70's Weekend"

Postby Dogsbody » Thu Jun 22, 2006 11:25 pm

So we do get our own heritage round!

I found this out today when a "Bulldog Bulletin" newsletter came in, at the back it had the CDFC jumper with the red & white V's on it, the worn ones will be auctioned off on eBay. Sweet stuff, can't wait to see what some of the other teams come up with.

Correct me if I'm wrong on these...

North -- Red with VFL-style 'V'
Eagles -- this will be the third heritage jumper they will make this year, wont it? Who will they honour?
West -- Vertical red & black stripes?

The other clubs are all wear the same stuff they did then so they wont do too much to their jumpers.
ARRIVE... RAISE HELL... LEAVE.

North aren't having a heritage round this year after having one for each of the last few years.

Looks like we are going to lose the GF this year rather than the Eagles - unless we play North......
Port, Sturt or Norwood to win it..... :(
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I believe that it's the Eagles 2nd one this year. This time it's Woodville.
