Jeremy Clayton injury.

Postby mal » Sun Jun 25, 2006 6:51 pm

I have recieved 2 reports on Jeremy Clayton.

He has a torn ACL joint in his knee which is consistent.
One opinion is 1 or 2 weeks
The other opinion is if its not right it could be the 2006 season finished.
What a loss if the best player in the comp. is finished in 2006.

MT79

The SANFL can not afford to lose a wonderful
player like jeremy, that post of yours was
totally unneccessary and i would appreciate
that you kept sarcastic comments like that to yourself.

HE WOULD NOT HAVE HELPED TODAY AS THEY WERE OUTCLASSED, but it is sad when any player is injured
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

HI SYD-DOG

Nah Jeremy did it at Elizabeth Oval SYD.

And just for the record SYD his knee might have gave way because
he played some games at TELSTRA DOOM a few years ago.!!!!!!!!!!

Just for the record SD and you being a physio how serious is
a torn ACL joint knee injury?

PS syd there is still another chapter in the TD debate.

Long term (beyond this year) could be good as it may mean that Richmond may decide not to draft him and he'll stay in SA with the magpies.

An Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury for a footballer, or elite sportsperson in general requires a Knee Reconstruction and set date is around 12 months of rehab. Obviously players coeme back earlier like Libba and David Schwartz, but thats the norm.
