Eagles 2.2 7.5 10.9 15.13.103

Was there a problem with clashing jumpers?

Did you play "grand old Flag" when the Norwood U/17s won?

Does it really matter? Considering the guernseys are so different, I don't see the issue.

The Eagles wore the blue jumper while I believe Norwood wore their away jumperm the one where the top of the jumper is red. But still should have worn white shorts, when we play Port, North, Glenelg and West away, we wear white shorts, why can't Norwood when they play away or can't they afford the cost.

The question is why to the Eagles wear white shorts when playing North, as white is one of our colours you're clashing with us and as we have red shorts your blue one's would actually stand out more?

All I'm saying is that the away team should where white shorts, we (the underage sides) wear white shorts at away games, except maybe against North. An away game against North is the only game where we might wear blue shorts.

These decisions aren't made by the club, they are made by the SANFL. So if they say Norwood can wear blue shorts, that's what they do. Norwood always wear white shorts against clubs such as Port, South, Glenelg, West, etc, the clubs with dark jumpers.

Adelaide Hawk, the eagles were wearing our normal blue jumper and blue shorts in the unders on Saturday and so were Norwood, the outfits were too simular, if you were there, you would have seen it. When the unders played at Noarlunga a couple weeks ago, we as a club, decided to wear white shorts with our blue jumper so that we could tell the difference between the two.

I was at the juniors game on the weekend, and I had no issue telling the difference between the two teams. I seriously don't see what your issue is. It made no difference to the outcome of the games - the players weren't confused at all. The two guernseys are not alike. I don't remember seeing any red in the Eagles gear, and the 2 shades of blue are quite different.

No song is ever played by any team at any ground at the 19s' and 17s' level.

Try telling them apart at night, Baby Jav.
Only the players sing the song when the Unders play.

MightyEagles,
Considering how concerned you are about the away team wearing white shorts, can you explain why the Eagles wore Blue Shorts as the away team Friday night in League game?
Regards.

It's ironic this topic would come up in an Eagles v Norwood game considering these are the only two clubs who have an alternate strip (at league level anyway). All clubs should have an alternate strip that they wear for away games against a clashing team. North and Sturt are probably the only clubs that don't clash with any other team.

Cause we usaully where blue shorts with our yellow clash jumber. When the 17s and 19s played @ Norwood, we wear white shorts.
