Camera Incites Violence!!

I had to laugh when I read this on Footysa by kooka, it was in retaliation to a post which advised of an ugly incident in the Sturt cheer squad in the last quarter where someone got kicked out:

Trevhill I think you should get your facts right about the Sturt C.S. They did not start the fight, a stupid rooster supporter walked past with is video camera taping and saying to the cheer squad "how do you like that". The facts are that the security was inadequate at Adelaide oval friday night and the guy should not of been allowed to bring his camera into the ground, which the security knew friday night that they had made a mistake. This would of stopped any violence happening. Trevhill you always get onto this site and rubbish everything. I was standing near the cheer squad so i know all the facts are right.

Crikey if you can't bring a camera into the ground Ray Titus's career is looking shaking!
WTF?
Cameras incite violence?
I walked past the Sturt cheersquad in the last quarter with my camera (which despite being a still camera does have video capablitiy) and had no troubles. :?

Wedgie the main problem i had was with the inadequacies with the security. I had know problem with kicking out the offenders, i know some of them BUT i prefer to watch the game in a serious sort of atmosphere

Yeah I know mate, just taking the piss, I agree, Weslo security is pretty inconsistent and I'm aware of heaps of people that have had issues with them in the past, mind you like most organisations there's good ones' and ordinary ones.

Also part of the reason for my off the cuff remark above is that I'd say it was more to do with the North supporters mouth than his camera, I did hear someone was carrying on quite a bit near the Sturt cheersquad. When you're dominating play like we were at that time people should just enjoy the game and be good winners, as I said I did walk past the Sturt cheersquad in the last quarter but just kept my mouth shut as I know its not called for to be a smartarse at that time of the game, full marks to them for staying.

There's a few loose cannons in the Sturt CS, I think we're all aware of that but with the great flags and occasionally their floggers they do add heaps of colour to games which I think is great.

i know of atleast 2 guys who stand near/in the SCS who ive seen get heated at times and id, like many others, wish they change their behaviour. Id like to see the club make it official so it can be moderated and controlled.

The SANFL must have thought that the crowd at the parade was going to get out of control , for the life of me I have never seen so many redcoats at a game that was not at footy park at one stage there was a group of 6 redcoats standing and talking in front of the granstand I was sitting in. At one point while they were talking two of those yellow shirted security guys walked past them !!

Perhaps they knew WEDGIE and his camera were at Adelaide
