WTF WERE THEY THINKING????
How is it that this game isnt worthy of a friday or Saturday night allocation, let alone being programmed against an AFL game on 2 km down the road???
Shheeesh!

Not many Port fans would care, but I see your point FC,it is poor programming. Some 'Legs fans will be torn on what to do no doubt.
BTW,got the whites ready for Saturday? They say cameras add 10 pounds......

not true, i'm a port supporter and i care... there was easily an opportunity to get a HUGE crowd to this game. Why couldnt they have programmed a game no one cares about (like South v Sturt) instead.
Saturday???? I think i'm coming down with a headache...

Not this Norwood fan. The day I prefer a Crows v Geelong game to a Norwood v Port match, I'll go to the beach and pull a wave over my head.

One thing i've noticed is that when a Port game is scheduled against a home Crows game, a heap of Port fans do the feel good thing and watch the magpies rather than the Crows. I remember this resulting in higher than expected crowds to a Port V Central game, and I think a Port North game?
The Port half will be very well represented. The Norwood half, well. Even if it weren't a fixture clash, the Norwood fans would stay away.

Erm, why would the Norwood fans stay away from a Port clash regardless??

port did this about 2 years ago they use to play on the same day as the crows just cos most port fans hate the crows so that they could get a crowed.

If there's any Crows/Norwood members that are going to Alberton feel free to PM me if you need someone to take your Crows tickets off your harnds.
The Magpies only care about their supporters when programming games unfortunately.
On a bright note, doesn't the Crows/Geelong game start at 12.30?
There's no reason you couldn't so most of both matches.

GO and watch the pussies eat the budgies and then watch the 2nd half of norwood v port, but ill be celebrating a cats win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I cant believe people are getting upset about the programming, you should go live in perth where they play the WAFL head to head with the AFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's the bet that Norwood will white shorts at Alberton and Port Underage will wear white at Norwood?

Sounds like a plan, my son and I are the 2 probably going at this stage so just look for a young lad in a Geelong guernsey and me in a Cats jumper of some sort, I'm sure we'll stand out.

the game
